Each cover is expertly designed and sewn to fit any type of sleeve board. Our 3mm super dense, needle punched, polyester felt underlay pad provides extra cushioning for a smooth ironing experience.
Before ordering, take a look at our Example Photos to determine which cover is right for your specific sleeve board. Wall-mounted models, normally attached to vintage ironing boards, often require corset-like lacing to secure the cover tightly, while table top and free standing models typically wrap around the perimeter like a traditional ironing board. Rest assured that our covers will fit snugly and stay in place during use. Note that sleeve boards with 2 surfaces, require that you order the DOUBLE option if both wrap. If one or more needs to be laced then order 2 separate covers.

For over 15 years we have been making custom covers for folks who could not find quality replacement covers and have accumulated a LONG list of satisfied customers and patterns. Our ironing board covers are proudly made in the USA, sewn locally in Berks County PA. Your cover is expertly crafted from either Therma-Flec, a silver metallic, aluminum coated cotton that is both scorch resistant and heat reflective; premium 100%, 7oz cotton twill; or 100% 70z cotton, fun, designer prints.
TRACING AND PHOTOS: After your order gets processed, we will send an email/message with instructions about taking photos and how to make your tracing and where to send it. (Rolled gift wrap is perfect for making your tracing and our seamstresses love to see different and fun prints when they cut and sew your cover). We will also request several photos of the top bottom and back of your board.
PREMIUM PAD: Unlike traditional covers, we have opted to keep the super dense 3mm needle-punched polyester pad separate from the cover. This not only makes it more economical for you to replace your cover in the future, but also makes cleaning easier as you can remove the cover without the bulk of the pad (which can also be cleaned). These pads are also mildew, moisture, and scorch resistant, ensuring durability and longevity. The needle-punched felt used in our pad is specially designed with vertical and interlocking fibers, making it more resilient and able to withstand constant pressing. It is thick, lays flat, and prevents bunching up, providing a smooth and efficient ironing experience. We carefully cut the pad to the exact size and shape of your board, ensuring a perfect fit. Your new cover is designed to wrap snugly around the pad, securely holding it in place. Not only does this protect your board, but it also provides a smooth surface for ironing and prevents any slipping or sliding.
PREMIER COTTON COVERS: All of our covers are crafted of sturdy 7-8oz cotton/cotton twill fabric, much thicker and longer-lasting than quilting cotton. Most of our fabrics and all of our premium pads are manufactured/printed in the USA.
DESIGN FEE (potential): Our custom design expert, Barb, often spends hours figuring out how to attach a cover to a custom board. Some boards are simple and straight forward. We may even have an existing pattern on file. However, other vintage and homemade boards, especially built-in ones, need special features, such as lacing, hooks, cut-outs, wings, etc. Depending on the complications of your board, we may request a ONE-TIME, additional design fee of $25-$40 to compensate Barb for her time and hard-work. She will discuss this with you after you have placed an order and have shared photos/sent a tracing. If you agree to the charge, will proceed with your order. Note that we keep all custom patterns on file, including special design and sewing instructions. (We have repeat orders for patterns we designed 15+ years ago!) All reorders will NOT be charged this fee.
CARE: To prolong the size and fit of your cover and pad, please spot clean only. Your cover is designed to tightly fit your board + pad and even hand-washing can shrink or misshape it.
