Therma-Flec is is a cotton fabric with an with vinyl aluminum lacquer coating blended in, making it scorch resistant up to 360 degrees Fahrenheit. (Please note this is not the quilted Therma-Flec), It is perfect for all projects that require heat resistant fabric.

We use and offer 2 weights. The 44" wide fabric is lighter in weight (~ 5oz/sq yard) and the 60" wide fabric is heavier (~ 7oz /sq yard). We use both fabrics when making our custom ironing board covers. The lisghter weight works better for the smaller boards and in general is a bit easier to work with. However, many ironing boards are 50-58" long and the heavier and longer fabric works best for us when crafting these covers. Choice is yours.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: It's not machine washable and is best to spot clean it.
